We are sad to announce that on July 20, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Irene Lorraine Standen of Kalkaska, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Sorenson and Marie Sorenson I. (Christopherson); her husband Jack Standen; her son David Standen; and her siblings, Sidney II, Elinor, Sylvia and Connie.
She is survived by: her children, Laura Standen, Paul Standen (Lisa) and Amy Gurski (David); her grandsons, Robert Standen (Cassandra King), Jack Lesinger, Nathaniel Gurski (Andrea) and Nicholas Gurski (Molly); her great grandchildren, Amara, Tyler, Austin, Violet, Lilley, Paisley, William and Isaac; and her sister Alice Winsjansen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Paul Lutheran Church.
