She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald B DePeel and Katherine F DePeel (Bluer). She is survived by: her husband Allen L Triplett; her daughter Jennifer Hunn (Mark); her grandchildren, Lucas, Logan and Marks; her daughter Heidi; her grandsons, Caleb, Jacob and Clayton; her stepchildren, Ellie and Eric; her daughter Brandy Brister of Kalkaska; her grandchildren, Braydon, Carmen, Nathan, Caiden and Mike Triplett, Jr. (Allyson); her children, Luna, Willow and Cadence; and her siblings, Donna Nyboer of Kansas, Dale DePeel (Paula) of Minnesota, Daryl DePeel (Robyn) of Kansas, Duke DePeel Sr. (Dawn) and Susan DePeel (Rick) of Michigan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She made dozens of mittens and hats and donated them to various charities in Kalkaska and neighboring communities.
