She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred E. Anderson and Marie E. Anderson (Pepin); her husband John "Bubba" McDowell; her brother Joseph Anderson; her sisters-in-law, Patricia Anderson and Clarann Anderson; and her nephew Mark Groesser.

She is survived by: her brother David Anderson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Father Fred Foundation or The American Lung Association.
