It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darryl Lynn Sandell of Kaleva, Michigan, who passed away on February 17, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Darryl departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Darryl. Though Darryl may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Armas Sandell and Geraldine Sandell; and his sister Patricia Archer. He is survived by: his significant other Dixie Howes; his daughters, Aimee Sandell-Green (Jason) and Amber Sandell (Tony); his grandchildren, Amber Lynn Sandell-Siuda and Corey Green; his siblings, Sandy Asiala and Bryan Sandell; and his uncles, Bill Sandell, Phillip Archer and Jason Howes. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
