We bid farewell to Youssef Nouna (Kalamazoo, Michigan), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 17, 2025 at the age of 96. Youssef touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mitri Nouna and Julia Nouna; and his siblings, Micheal, Albert and Claire.
He is survived by: his wife Alis Rezk; his children, Ghada (Raymond), Fadia (Saad), Rania, Riyad (Colette) and Nabil (Carol); his grandchildren, Ezzat (Lana), Rasha (Samir), Bahjat (Elena), Rita (Anthony), Izat (Abby), Elsy, Angie, Jessie, Amelia, Joelle, Joseph, Peter, Isabella and Anthony; his great grandchildren, Fouad, Tara, Joe, Kayla and Gabriella; and his siblings, Edmond and Madeleine. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Betzler Life Story Funeral Homes (6080 Stadium Dr, Kalamazoo, MI 49009). A Mass was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Augustine Cathedral (542 W Main St, Kalamazoo, MI 49007). An entombment was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery (2003 Mt Olivet Rd, Kalamazoo, MI 49004). A reception was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Cathedral Center (542 W Main St, Kalamazoo, MI 49007).
