He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Pearson and Mary Pearson (Lahey); his wife Reba Root; his son Sam; and his siblings, Marion Charon and Donald Pearson.
He is survived by: his son David Pearson (Judy) of Plainwell; his daughter-in-law Mary Pearson of Dorr; and his grandchildren, Becky, Will, Tara and Erica. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
