He is survived by: his wife Marlene Sorg; his children, Kristine Drews (Tom) and Rusty Gorter (Tina); his grandchildren, Patrick Bloss (Daniela), Ari Bloss, Owen, Makenna Gorter, Kirsten and Clayton Drews; and his siblings, Bill Gorter (Rowena), Bernie Gorter (Sharen) and Lucy Walker (John).
