He was predeceased by: his siblings, Allen Gardner Jr., Annette Gardner, Angela Jackson, Sharon Pratt (Gardner) and Kathleen Gardner Burns.
He is survived by: his parents, Allen Gardner and Pauline Gardner; his children, Wayne Gardner, Anesha Gardner and Kyndra Hoskins; his siblings, Mary Dixon, Carman Rivera, LaShalle Coulter, La'Aysha Mitchell and Shemar Mitchell; and his aunts, Berniece McKinley and Helen Brooks. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
