Virginia R. Cook Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 21, 2022, at the age of 88, Virginia R. Cook (Kalamazoo, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Rice and Alice Rice (Van Haften); and her brothers, Marvin Rice and Kenneth Rice. She is survived by: her husband Jack D. Cook; her daughters, Pamela Gettys of Battle Creek, Kathleen Cook of Comstock and Nancy Drenth of Portage; her grandchildren, Lisa Towery (Larry), Michelle Story (Troy), Stephanie Girdner (Jerry), Denise Hargreaves (Erin), Michael Cook (Bill) and Jason Tindell; and her siblings, David Rice (Ellen), Ronnie Rice (Shirley) and June Cox (Bennie). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and countless friends.

Memorial contributions may be given to Elara Hospice, or Kalamazoo First Assembly of God, in c/o the funeral home.
