Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Virginia Carol Alferink of Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 75, on July 24, 2022. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Miner and Virginia Pearl Miner (Cutler); and her son Garld Brown Jr. (Jay Alferink). She is survived by: her former spouse Garld Robert Brown; her husband Jay Howard Alferink; her children, Virginia "Gini" (Scott), Dale Brown (Sherry) and David Brown; her grandchildren, Heather, Ryan, Dale, Alex, David and Ariel; and her siblings, Karen Richwine (Les), Ken Miner (Nancy) and Robin West. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
