He was predeceased by: his parents, Aminollah Kehyari and Irandought Kehyari; his siblings, Iraj Kehyari, Teymour Kehyari and Sheda Kehyari; and his grandson Gregory Atkinson.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lidster; his children, Kristina, Zachary Kehyari of Kalamazoo and Rachel Atkinson (Jeff) of Pfugerville, Texas; his grandchildren, Leo, Charlie, Henry and Nora Atkinson of Pfugerville, Texas; his siblings, Tahmoures Kehyari (Jennifer) of Howard City, Michigan, Leda and Shalah of Iran; his sister-in-law Mary Goriesky; his aunt Zia Ebrahimi; his cousins, Ziba and Asieh of Virginia; and also Vikki Kobza of Grand Rapids. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
