It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Tom Saewert (Kalamazoo, Michigan), who passed away on December 9, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Tom Saewert to show support.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeanette Saewert (Nash) and Charles 'Bud Saewert; and his sister Charlene Harrell. He is survived by: his cousin Jim MacPhee; his wife Susan; and his children, Nicole Whitesel (Joe), Magee Patzer (Dan) and Andrea Giacomantonio (Sam). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
A reception will follow at Martell's Restaurant, 3501 Greenleaf Blvd. The restaurant is reserved and will have adequate space to gather safely and social distance while celebrating Tom.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to WMU Bronco Athletic Fund (formerly the Gary Athletic Fund), Beacon Pointe Memory Care, or Kindred Hospice.
