He is survived by: his son Tom; his grandsons, Benjamin, Matthew, Christopher and Gabriel; his great grandchild Vincent; his wife Mona; his daughter Lissa (Jeff James); his grandson Nicholas; his brothers, Ed Pyret (Sharon) and David Pyret; and also Lissa.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Betzler Life Story Funeral Homes (6080 Stadium Dr, Kalamazoo, MI 49009). A rosary was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Monica Catholic Church (4408 S Westnedge Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49008). A reception was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Ft. Custer National Cemetery (15501 W Dickman Rd, Augusta, MI 49012).
Memorial contributions may be made in Tom's memory to St. Monica Catholic Church or to the Catholic Biblical School of Michigan.
