It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thema Irene Bennett of Kalamazoo, Michigan, born in Sturgis, Michigan, who passed away on August 13, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Harold Harris and Pauline Harris (Diehm); her grandson Aaron Kahila; and her brothers, Charles Harris, Harold "Punk" Harris and Ben Harris.
She is survived by: her former husbands, William Willer of Sturgis and Gerald P. Bennett of Kalamazoo; her children, Lori Kahila (Kevin) of Mattawan, MI, Michael Willer (Debbie) and Cindi Woessner (David) of Portage, MI.; her grandchildren, Annemarie Garber (Phil), Adele Koopsen (Joe), Alex Kahila (Jenna), Abel Kahila, Alise Kahila, Drew Willer, Seth Willer, Grace Willer, Jacob Woessner, Jonathan Woessner and Joshua Woessner; her great grandchildren, Emma, Henry Garber and Rowan Koopsen; and her siblings, Retha Hackett Lancaster of Burr Oak, Dave Harris (Candy) of Burr Oak and Denny Harris (Jeanie) of White Pigeon. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
