He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Piller, and Anna Piller, Sr. (Strumberger); his children, Wini VanderWal (Mark), Ingrid Frouws (Marty) and Karen Wehrmann (Mike); his siblings, Frank Piller, Jr. (Judy), Rudy Piller (Teresa) and Rose Quoss (Chuck); his sister-in-law Bonnie Piller; and his brother John Piller. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.
