We bid farewell to Stanley R. Opfermann of Kalamazoo, Michigan, born in Monroe, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 12, 2024 at the age of 97. Stanley touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Opfermann and Sabra Opfermann (Olmsted); his wife Joyce M. Bredernitz; and his children, Ann and David Opfermann.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Opfermann (Jenny) of Norton Shores, MI and Amy Anderson (Dale) of Dundee, MI; his brother Gene Opfermann (Mary Lou) of Monroe; and his grandchildren, Danielle Bersche (Jeremiah), Andrew Anderson, Luke Opfermann and Nathan Opfermann.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations are suggested to Amy Anderson to benefit Jefferson Schools College Scholarship Fund.
