She was predeceased by: her parents, Verners Plugis and Helena Plugis (Lazdans); her son Roberto Miguel Sanchez; her grandson Alejandro Sanchez Trevino; and her brothers, Jazeps Plugis and Adolfs Plugis.

She is survived by: her children, Enrique R. Sanchez, Jr. (Jamie Vallier), Joanna Sanchez (Agustin Vargas) and Stephanie Sanchez; and her siblings, Ludvigs Plugis, Veronika Alexander and Erika Plugis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and many friends.
