He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Simon Lopez and Tomasa Mendez Lopez (Lozoya); his wife Mary Mendez (Vega); his daughters, Ida Salas (Daniel) and Norma Vega; his stepchildren, Francisco, Rachel and Stephanie; his grandchildren, Daniel, Miguel, Ariana, Sienna, King, Victor, Francisco, Jr., Chris, Amanda, Elizabeth, Tyler, Marissa, Samuel, Carlos, Macy, Marco, George and David; and his sisters, Amparo Alegra, Anna Mendez, Lilly Duran, Carmella Espinoza and Celia Mendez.
A graveside service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mt Ever-Rest Memorial Park South (3941 S Westnedge Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49008). A memorial service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Asembleas (7835 Lovers Ln, Portage, MI 49002).
