He was predeceased by: his parents, Scott B., Sr. and Dorothy Smeltzer (Exstance); and his grandson Jeremy Smeltzer. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Jean Smeltzer (Mort); and his children, Laura VanderMeer (Terry), David Smeltzer (Leslie), Gail Bigley (Vance), Larry Smeltzer (Alison), Jerry Smeltzer (Ginger) and Kathy McDaniel (Jeff). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
