She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Isadore Goldstein and Dorotha Goldstein; her spouse Glen E. Collison; her children, Michael Collison (Linda) of Little Chute, WI, Dan Collison (Holly) of Minneapolis, MN and Julie Stevens (Doc) of Cooper Twp; her grandchildren, Alyssa (Matthew), Ryan (Sara), Rachel, Walker, Atley, Calvin (Nina), Noah and Brendan; and her siblings, Rosalind Wolhowe (Rich) of Michigan City, IN, Marilyn Wallace (Duane) of Michigan City, IN, Adina Pinsky (Sam) of Minneapolis, MN and Raymond Goldstein (Nancy) of Flint, MI. She was also cherished by ten nieces and nephews.

As the founder of Shalom, Inc. which provides care for adults with disabilities, in lieu of flowers, her family request memorial contributions be directed to Shalom, Inc., P.O. Box 265, Kalamazoo, MI 49004.

“To the family and friends, Please accept my deepest sympathy. Sara was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her. She had a heart for God and I enjoyed going to her Bible study where I was both challenged and loved. I am grateful that Glen and Sara's ministry vision, Shalom, will continue. I don't think we will know how many lives she has touched, but I am thankful for the time she invested in mine.”
