It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandye Kay Whetter of Kalamazoo, Michigan, born in Owosso, Michigan, who passed away on September 30, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Art" Matznick and Bonnie Matznick; and her stepson Brent Whetter. She is survived by: her husband George "Thomas"; her siblings, Dennis Matznick (Sue), Brad Matznick (Betty) and Connie Minarik (Tony); her son Jason Norton; her stepdaughter Kim Lomax (Tim); her stepgrandchildren, Jason, Rachel and Sabrina; and her nieces and nephews, Jennifer Gottlieb (Steven), Eric Matznick (Angie), Mark Matznick (Stephanie), Mackenzie Snyder (Joe), Curtis Matznick (Leslly), Samantha Bernhardt (Jeremy) and Alex Minarik.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Memorial Healthcare Hospice or The Meadows of Owosso in Sandye's name, continuing her legacy of love and kindness in the world.
