She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Homan and Velma Homan (Garrison); her brother Bill; her sister-in-law Helen Fort; and her pet Ladybug.
She is survived by: her husband Buzz Fort; her children, Adam Fort (Diane) of Vicksburg and Dana Dent (Scott) of Kalamazoo; her granddaughter Jenna Curtis (Matthew) of Grand Rapids; her children, Caleb Fort of Grand Rapids and Ryan Fort of Richland; her great-granddog Leo; and her siblings, Sandra York (Larry), Bonnie Wolfe of Vicksburg, Rob Homan (Kathy) of Vicksburg, Ivy Kirchberg (Eric) and Janet Richardson (Doug) of White Lake. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and cousins.
