She was predeceased by: her parents, Lauren "Jack" Gardner and Isadore Gardner (Finkbeiner); and her former husband Robert Schanz. She is survived by: her husband David Strong; her children, Robert Jr. Schanz (Debbie), Angela Smith (Eric) and Stacey Post (Rick); her stepchildren, Matthew Strong (Laura), Adam Strong (Carrie) and Emily Barnett (Heather); her grandchildren, Jessica Stuifbergen (Stephen), Katelynn Vandefifer (Sabrina), Bobby Schanz, Molinda Wilkins (David), Isaac Smith (Kristina), Isaiah Smith, Kyle Post (Madeline), Emma Post and Celia Post; her stepgrandchildren, Colton Strong, Gabby Strong and Lauren Barnett; her great grandchildren, Luke, Owen, Chloe, Greyson, Wyatt, Rory, August and Bodie; and her brother Robert Gardner (Sandy).
