He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Valkema and Anna Valkema (Klooster); his wife Marilyn (Noble); his siblings, Albert Valkema and Evelyn Dean (Paul); his children, Henry Valkema (Colleen), Carol VanDyke (Randy) and Mark Nap (Susan); his grandchildren, Greg Nap (Maddie), Angela Reiter (Chris), Mellisa Kakarian, Brad VanDyke (Olivia), Henry M. Valkema, Heath Valkema and Anna Valkema; and his great grandchildren, Drew, Jackson Reiter, Hunter Nap, Damien, Wyatt Kakarian, Finley VanDyke and Cope Palmer. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
