He was predeceased by: his parents, Claus Terpstra and Nellie Terpstra (Folkersma); his son Jeffery D. Terpstra; and his sister Evelyn Grofvert. He is survived by: his wife Carol Chase; his children, Tracy Lynn Locey of Vicksburg and Thomas Dale Terpstra (Mandy) of Lawton; his grandchildren, Autumn Lynn Locey and McKenzee Jean Terpstra; his stepgranddaughters, Savannah Terpstra, Madison Terpstra and Abbygail Terpstra; his sister Marilyn Ufkes (John); and his pet Luna. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to Dementia Society of America, in c/o the funeral home.
