With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert W. Dudley of Kalamazoo, Michigan, born in Yale, Michigan, who passed away on March 20, 2023 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dudley and Grace Dudley (Phelps); and his wife Fran. He is survived by: his children, Karen VanHooydonk (Case) of Parkhill, Ont, Linda Dove (Darrell Robinson) of Lewisburg, TN, Steven Dudley (Karen) of Kalamazoo, Lori McLane (Andy) of North Branch and Sgt W. Scott Dudley (Melissa McCormick) of Hinnesville, GA; his daughter-in-law Jeanne Hughes (Jim) of Hampton, VA; and his siblings, Lucille Fletcher of Lewiston, Kenneth Dudley and Harold Dudley. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Bob Dudley may be made to the American Red Cross, Rose Arbor Hospice of Kalamazoo, or K9 Battle Buddies of Hinesville, GA (a Non-Profit Organization dedicated to training rescued dogs to be service dogs for Combat Veterans and Active Duty Service Men/Women suffering from PTSD and/or TBI).
