He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucile and Paul; his spouse James A. Rapp; his son Mark; his sister Maxine; and his grandson Tyler Rapp.

He is survived by: his former wife Dawn Weed; his stepdaughter Lisa Allen (Nate); and also, Robert Paul (Lori), Mark E., Martha McDaniel (Tim), Fred (Anne) and David (Shawn). He is also survived by great grandchildren.
