He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Franklyn Sherman, Sr. and Eunice Louise Sherman (Millard); his granddaughter Michelle Sherman; and his sister Janice Wortinger. He is survived by: his spouse Lyn Allen; his grandchildren, David Sherman (Sarah), Ellen Clark (Richard), Meranda Longnecker (Gary), Amy Clark, Nichole Sherman (Drew Richmond), Kristie Hammond (Harold), Rickie Clark, Jr., Tyler Clark and Kaitlyn Longnecker; and his brother Jerry Sherman (Jennette).
