He was predeceased by: his parents, Elias Kloosterman and Lena Kloosterman; and his siblings, William Kloosterman (Ann), Nellie Bloemsma (Harm), Martha Vlietstra (Martin), John Kloosterman (Wilma), Neil Kloosterman (Berdine), Harry Kloosterman (Catherine), Jeannette Kniss (Edwin), Elias Jr. Kloosterman and Josephine VanderRoest (Gerald).
He is survived by: his wife Tillie Joan (Dykehouse); his children, David Kloosterman (Gail), Philip Kloosterman (Lynn), Kevin Kloosterman (Cheryl), Thomas Kloosterman (Norma), Daniel Kloosterman (Denise) and Cheryl Herder (Doug); his sister Lena Doherty; and his sister-in-law Evelyn Kloosterman. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, their spouses, and 16 great-grandchildren.
