He was predeceased by: his parents, Hiram Herder and Jennie Herder (Klimp); his brother Nathan Herder (Norma); his grandson Baby Niewoonder; and his sister-in-law Lois Herder.
He is survived by: his wife Norma (Visser); his children, Tom Herder (Sally), Lynn Kloosterman (Phil) and Kay Niewoonder (Ed); his grandchildren, Steve Herder (Kelli), Jennifer Herder, Ryan Herder, Laura Kloosterman, Carrie Garrison (Jared), Mark Kloosterman, Chad Niewoonder (Josie), Nate Niewoonder (Paige) and David Niewoonder; his great grandchildren, Jayden, Avery Herder and Drew Garrison; and his brothers, Vern Herder and Paul Herder (Maureen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bob's name can be made to the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission.
