He was predeceased by: his wife Dena Mentor; his parents, Viniece W. Mentor (Brown) of Kalamazoo, MI and Floyd G. Mentor of Kalamazoo, MI; and his brother Dennis Mentor of Battle Creek, MI. He is survived by: his siblings, Glayda Lewis (Terry) of Coopersville, MI, Victor "Vic" Mentor (Linda) of Biloxi, MS and Dale Mentor (Pam) of Kalamazoo, MI.. He is also survived by Numerous children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Baptist Church (1211 Fulford St, Kalamazoo, MI 49001).
