With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Lee Groenheide of Kalamazoo, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 28, 2024 at the age of 86. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Groenheide and Clara Groenheide; his brother Nelson; and his brothers-in-law, Gar Napp, Al Voss, Tom Sullivan and Jim Kooi.
He is survived by: his wife Marcia Kooi; his sons, Dan, Stan (Teresia) and Doug; his grandchildren, Joseph Groenheide, Sarah Vaknin (Tuval), Jacob Wnuk-Groenheide (Emily) and Becky Ligon (Matt); his great grandchildren, Logan and Brittney; his sisters, Ilene Voss and Hazel Bussema (Carl); and his sister-in-law Pat Sullivan.
