Richard L. Beardsley Obituary

A memorial celebration of Richard's life will be held on October 4, 2024, beginning at 1:00 p.m., at the Weatherstone Village Community Center, 5210 Marsh Arbor Trail, Kalamazoo, MI 49004. Memorial contributions may be given to Heartland Hospice, c/o the funeral home.

Age 80, passed away at his home on September 16, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. Richard was born in Northville, MI, on July 26, 1944. Richard was kind, loving and generous. He worked hard to provide for his family as a manager in the automotive industry. When not working he enjoyed spending time with friends and making memories with his family. He was especially proud of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and leaves them with many special memories to cherish. On February 18, 1965, he married the love of his life Ginny (Shrout) Beardsley who survives. He is also survived by a son, Pastor Thomas (Robyn) Isaacson, of Drummond Island; daughters, Kimberly Beardsley, of Kalamazoo, Melissa (Doug) Mitro, of Alva, Florida, and Julie Alexander, of Clarkston, MI; thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; extended family and friends. He was preceded in passing by his father, Richard Beardsley Sr.; mother, Minnie Jenkins and stepfather, Rubin "Stanley" Bare.
