He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Doorlag and Rena Doorlag (Engberts); and his siblings, Elzo, Harm, Jerry, Henry, Ada Vlietstra and Hattie Irwin.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Vos; his children, Brenda Longmore (John), Rick Doorlag (Lynda) and Kevin Doorlag (Denise); and his siblings, Garrett Doorlag, Edward Doorlag (Pat), John Doorlag, Jim Doorlag (Ruth), Alyce Bosma and Robert Doorlag (Judy). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.
