Richard A. VanDam Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard A. VanDam (Kalamazoo, Michigan), who passed away on February 10, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold VanDam and Marie VanDam (Kallewaard); and his sister-in-law Bonnie. He is survived by: his wife Nadine VanDam (Sturman); his children, Randy VanDam (Janice), Pam Gould (Fred), Lisa Hunt (Tom), Kevin VanDam (Sherry) and Brian VanDam (Givin); his grandchildren, Jonathon VanDam (Arika), Katie Ketchum (Cody), Stephen Gould (Shelby), Melissa Keeley (Bryan), Ryan Gould, Nathan Hunt (Alex), Alyssa Hunt, Jackson, Nicholas VanDam, Kyle, Dylan and Meredith VanDam; his great grandchildren, Matthew, AvaGrace, Tanner, Carter, Ethan, Chase, Bryson and Halle; and his siblings, David VanDam, Tom VanDam (Carole) and Kay Kalkman (Henry). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial and Cremation Services (3926 S 9th St, Kalamazoo, MI 49009). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Heritage Christian Reformed Church (2857 S 11th St, Kalamazoo, MI 49009).
