Randy J. DeBoer, age 67 of Kalamazoo, MI, passed away at his home on March 28, 2025. He was born in Kalamazoo, MI, on September 7, 1957, the son of the late Donald and Barbara (Burgwald) DeBoer. Randy was kind, loving and generous. He was a "jack of all trades" who could fix and fabricate nearly anything. He loved working on engines, projects or anything that required him to have a tool in hand. He was selfless with his gifts and would always take the time to help those in need. He enjoyed rebuilding his 1969 SS Chevelle, which was always a work in progress. He was kind to animals, especially his loyal dog "Buddy". He was especially proud of his children and grandchildren and took time to be an involved grandfather. He enjoyed designing and producing "mind teaser" games and delighted in sharing them with others. Randy's smile, love and laughter will be missed by those who knew him. He is survived by two daughters, Lisa (Matthew) Bowers, Jennifer (Lucas) VanderLugt; grandchildren, Autumn and Zachariah Bowers, Michael Davis, Alexander Yonkers and Abigaile VanderLugt; a sister, Darlene Pierce; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was also preceded in passing by three brothers, Donald, Kirt and Robert DeBoer.
