He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius Peterson and Janelle Peterson (Schulz); and his sister Shelley. He is survived by: his daughter Jordan Vanas-Peterson of Kalamazoo; his siblings, John Peterson of Muskegon and Shannon Schulz Webb of Brentwood, TN; his nieces, Savanna and Sierra; his nephew Nathan; and his former wife Vicki Vanas.
