He was predeceased by: his parents, John Berger and Mildred Berger (Ward); and his wife Helen (McDonald). He is survived by: his sister Phyllis Marsh; his nieces, Brenda Graham and Debbie Weslock (Kurt); his nephew Craig Marsh (Kim); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Chelsea, Sarah, Morgan, Maddie, Leah, Nicholas, Joshua and Noah; and also, Bia and Tillie.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel (3926 S 9th St, Kalamazoo, MI 49009). The military honors will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Ft. Custer National Cemetery (15501 W Dickman Rd, Augusta, MI 49012).
