She was predeceased by: her parents, T. M. George and Mariamma George; and her sister Susamma Varghese. She is survived by: her son Simon David Chunkath; her daughter-in-law Deven Nelson Chunkath; her granddaughter Elizabeth "Izzy" Chunkath; and her siblings, Mariamma Skariah, Annamma Mathai, Rosamma Joseph and Rev. Sam George.
