It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phillip Wilson of Kalamazoo, Michigan, born in Fort Sheridan, Illinois, who passed away on November 14, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Wilson and Mildred Wilson (Bowles); and his siblings, Shirley Stillman (Andrew) of Kalamazoo and Kenneth Wilson of Eagle, CO.. He is survived by: his children, Katherine Thomas (Daryl) of Parchment and Scott Wilson (Susan) of Portage; his grandchildren, Ashley Roberts (Ray) of Galesburg, Lela Thomas of Parchment, Daryl Jr. Thomas (DD) of Parchment, Dalton Thomas of Kalamazoo and Hannah Garcia (Alex) of Mattawan; his siblings, Norman Wilson (Donna) of Pittsburgh, PA, Marjorie Kirkpatrick (Peter) of Salem, MA and Debra Smith (Charles) of Cooper Twp; and the mother of his children Marcia Hilton (Andrew) of Davenport, FL. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Phil requests that any memorial donations be directed to the University of Michigan Cancer Center 1500 E Medical Center Dr. Ann Arbor, MI 48109 (who together with his late sister Shirley, saved his life in 1995 via a bone marrow transplant).
