He was predeceased by: his brother Thomas Carey. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Meghan Carey and Brian Carey; his sister-in-law Mary Ann Carey; and also, Joseph and Margaret Carey (Feeney). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
