She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredrick Rice and Ardith June Rice (Felthoff); and her siblings, Mary Gross and Gary Rice. She is survived by: her husband Neal Hemenway; her daughters, Torrie and Robin; her siblings, Fredrick Rice (Norma), Bradley Rice (Valerie), Dennis Rice (Mary Pratt), LaNita Wolfe (Chris) and Leslie Rice (Mary); and her siblings-in-law, Richard Gross and Denise Rice.
Peggy lived with Schizophrenia for over 40 years and in lieu of flowers or gifts the family asks that you honor her memory by a memorial gift made to Memorial Fund for Peggy Irene Hemenway at the Department of Psychiatry at WMU Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine.
