He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Zelas and Eugenia Zelas (Musial); his brothers, Mark Zelas and Kent Zelas; and his uncle Joseph Musial.
He is survived by: his sister Judy Zelas; his aunt Jan McKenna (Bert); his nephew Ben Zelas; his cousins, Debbie Nitchals (Michael), Nancy Agger-Hielsen (Claus) and Karen Cate (Mike); and his sister-in-law Nancy Wride.
