He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Fitzpatrick and Mary Fitzpatrick (Bannigan); and his wife Dorothy McDonald. He is survived by: his children, James Fitzpatrick, Karen Garrison (Jeffrey), Paul Fitzpatrick, Carol Burns (Ron), Laurie Fitzpatrick and Mary Fitzpatrick; and his sister Helen Honeysett.

Donations in memory of Patrick may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
