We are sad to announce that on April 11, 2021, at the age of 75, Mohammad Javad Jazayeri-Nejad of Kalamazoo, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Abdul Rahim and Rohbabeh Kiasi Jazayeri; his former wife Karen Sue McDougall; and his brother Jamshid Jazayeri.

Funeral directors are following current Michigan Department of Health and Human Services guidelines for COVID-19; those attending will be instructed accordingly, and masks must be worn.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his name to the National Park Service Featured Michael J. LeMasters Mohammad Javad Jazayeri-Nejad FEMA to Reimburse for COVID Deaths.

“I first met Javad late 1971 in Miami. He was a serious man and strong like a boxer. Two years later, he moved to Kalamazoo with some friends namely Shahriar Safaee. We were all adventurous back then. So I met up with them on my way to California. It was fun times. Over the years, I tried to connect but was never successful. Today, he came to mind only to find out about his passing. It was a sad news for me. My condolences to his family and friends. Steve Salek - California.”
