It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Shoemaker of Kalamazoo, Michigan, born in Holland, Michigan, who passed away on August 17, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Strabbing and Greta Strabbing (DePree); and her siblings, Robert Strabbing, Gladys Genzink, Donald Strabbing, Lois Tucker, Jerold Strabbing, Joyce Schipper and Charles Strabbing.
She is survived by: her husband Roger J. Shoemaker; her children, Randy Shoemaker (Anne Guyot), Rita Broekema (Tom) and Karen Shoemaker; her grandchildren, Katelyn, Rachel, Krista, Kelsey, Sara and Keely; her great grandchild Henry; and her siblings, Norma Van Popering, Carol Kolk (Herman), Vern Shoemaker (Elaine), Richard Shoemaker (Jane) and Shirley Garlock. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be directed to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or the American Diabetes Association.
