It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary C. Kornoelje (Kalamazoo, Michigan), who passed away on January 15, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary C. Kornoelje to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Staple and Mary Staple (Yonker); her husband Robert Kornoelje; and her siblings, Amelia VanderMeer (Roy), Johanna Mejeur (Uko "Dutch") and Jake Staple (Ethel).

She is survived by: her children, Ron Kornoelje (Pam Post) of Kalamazoo and Sharon Kornoelje of Kalamazoo; her grandchildren, Russell Kornoelje (Nicole) and Randall Kornoelje (Kelli); her great grandchild Reece; and her brother-in-law Jim Kornolje. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
