She was predeceased by: her father Little Rock Refrigeration. She is survived by: her friend Mary Ann; her spouse Thomas Carey (Little Rock) of Kalamazoo; her children, David Carey (Mary Whiting), Ann Bayer (Mark), Susan Carey, Jane Kiel (Tracy), Ruth Shehigian (Thomas) and Martha Huckabee (Brett); and her friend Grant Chandler (Jim Schlage). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and four sisters and two brothers.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Monica Catholic Church.
