With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary A. Smyser (Kalamazoo, Michigan), born in Saginaw, Michigan, who passed away on September 4, 2021 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William D. Smyser and Evelyn B. Smyser. She is survived by: her friends, Rex, Teddy, Max, Annie and Flash; her nephews, Otis and Dudley; her brother William Smyser (Kathy); and her friend Linda Rowgo. She is also survived by several cousins, and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, Mary has requested contributions go to The Animal Rescue Project-Kalamazoo or the Kalamazoo Literacy Council.
