She was predeceased by: her parents, William Eugene Pruitt and Lora Mae Pruitt (McDonald); her husband Oliver Douglas Pleasants; her stepmother Fanita Gunter Pruitt (Reynolds); and her brothers, Michael Eugene Pruitt and William Ray Pruitt.
She is survived by: her children, Lora Ellen, Jennifer Ann and Brian Douglas; her sister Margaret Pruitt Ridings; her stepsisters, Ruth Lynn Gunter Hayes and Martha Beth Gunter Coleman; her sisters-in-law, Karen Benefiel, Janice Pleasants (Godwin), Linda Pleasants (Phillips) and Bernice Roberts (Pleasants); and her grandchildren, Skylar, BreeAna, McKenzie, Elijah and Seth.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the Spry Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
